Gift of Magi play /story

In the story and play of "Gift of Magi" there are alike in many ways but different. In both versions Jim and Della wanted to buy gifts for each other, but didn't have the money because they were poor. Jim and Della sold items that meant a lot to themselves.Della cut her long hair and Jim sold his Grandpa's watch.
In the play she got twenty dollars and in the story she got two hundred dollars. She bought Jim a watch chain. Jim sold his watch to buy Della combs.

day10

The girls had a dance, and we had fun.It started out slow. Like most teen dances, boys and girls were scared to dance.Janie led some girls out to the floor, and called out a line dance. Then everybody danced the rest of the night. At the end of the dance Arid and Mrs Nelson were crowned Queen and King.Arid cried because he was so happy.
Mr. Bradshaw came in and told us he wanted the camp cleaned by the time our parents came. All the kids knew the camp was closing soon.  They quit playing, eating, and they were sad. Tom asked if they could leave the pool open till Saturday so they could show the parents what they had learned.

Day 6

On day 6 we woke up and decided we could climb Lookout Mountain. It was a challenge Martin helped us make. So with a few supplies of water, carrots, apples, and  three knives for protection, we left on a six mile hike to climb a mountain. It soon became very difficult. The trail got skinnier, and steeper so we had to go up backwards. It got slippery  from the falling rocks. We found that by sitting on our butts and scooting we could make it. No chairs to stop us from lying on our backs and seeing the big sky float by was wonderful.

DAY 3

Ron and Dominic decided that everything was moving too fast for the kids. They decided to go swimming after breakfast so the kids could get to know the other kids in camp.At first the kids were shy, but in a few minutes girl and boys were flirting and playing. When Martin lost his acorn necklace, and it showed up on Mary's neck the kids decided to make enough necklaces for everyone in camp. The rest of the afternoon was spent together, and having fun getting to know one another.I don't think the commander will be happy when he finds out what happened because he is so rigid about how things should be done..
